Leaving aside for a moment the composition and quality of the yarn, the right size and the perfect fit hold the key to that feel-good sensation in your favourite item of cashmere knitwear. That’s why we invest so much time in designing the fit of our garments and only release them for production when they have passed our tests with flying colours.
To make sure no products that exceed our tolerances ever reach the customer, the size of every item is inspected. The dimensions of the various styles are all listed in our finishing department and the different sizes are checked one after another. To make this easier and more accurate, a laser pointer projects markings onto the worktop.
This way, our staff can tell at a glance whether or not the size matches the specifications for the order. The presence of a certain dimensional tolerance is a natural consequence of using handknitting machines, because every item they produce is unique.
